F.I.T. Frills Trail Race

On November 1, 2026, runners of all ages and abilities gather at the heart of the park for the F.I.T. Frills race series. The starting line is set beside the Senior Center, where participants can find ample parking nearby as they prepare to embark on a scenic journey through the greenery.
The event offers options ranging from a kid-friendly 1-mile loop marked with yellow flags and arrows to more challenging routes for adults. The 5K course follows smooth trails adorned in green markers, while the 5-mile route presents a technical challenge with red-flagged paths winding through rocky terrain and steep hills. For those looking to push their limits further, a 4-hour endurance option awaits, allowing runners to complete multiple laps along the challenging 5-mile circuit.
The race features a rolling start format, enabling participants to begin anytime between 8:00 AM and noon. This flexibility allows families to enjoy the event at their own pace, with parents often accompanying children on the shorter course. All runners must pass through both the starting and finishing lines for accurate timing using Orbiter technology.
While medical professionals are not present on-site, basic first aid is available should any runner require it during the race day. Safety remains a top priority as all participants will be escorted off the course by noon to ensure everyone's well-being.
The F.I.T. Frills event kicks off an exciting TrailFecta series that includes additional races in late November and December, offering runners who complete all three events a special connecting medal.
