Firecracker 5K: America’s 250 Birthday Run

Celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th birthday with us at Legacy Park for our annual Firecracker 5K — now bigger, brighter, and more festive than ever! 
 

This year’s run brings a special twist as we honor 250 years of the USA with birthday‑themed surprises, patriotic fun, and a course full of red‑white‑and‑blue energy. 🎂🧨

Registration fee for the 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk includes:
🧨Customized race bib with timing tag (tag for 5k participants) 👏
🧨Commemorative custom 16oz metal color-changing finisher cup celebrating the race and 250th birthday. This is a one-time-only special giveaway.

🧨Firecracker 5K: America’s 250 Birthday Run - July 4th Morning race at Legacy Park 
✈️Top Run 5k & 1 Mile - October 3rd - morning race around the University of Oklahoma Westheimer Airport, ending at the annual Aviation Festival
🧟‍♂️Run For Your Life 5k & Trick or Treat Trot 1 Mile - October 17th evening family fun at Ruby Grant Park 
🎄Ugly Sweater Green & Grinchy 5k - December 12th, a fun afternoon race at Legacy Park.  Help us countdown to turning on the lights after the race!
⭐Race Day Registration will close 15 minutes prior to the race start at all races, and payment by credit/debit card only will be accepted for your online onsite registration.  

Packet pickup:
Kick off race week with us for all races in the series at Beanstalk Coffee & Sno (3408 36th Ave NW, Norman) for pre‑race packet pickup! Keep an eye on the race website and your email for full current details as we get closer - and definitely treat yourself to something tasty while you’re there. 🍵🍧 
Race‑day pickup will also be available on site starting one hour before the race, but we strongly encourage everyone to grab packets early prior to race day, to skip race day lines and head to the start line on time.
