Race Start: The race will begin at 9:00 AM near between the new bus station and the Waverly. This is the same race course as previous years. Course map available below.
Train Tracks: After decades of running this race it finally happened last year, a train came through during the race. If you look at the course map you'll see the course crosses railroad tracks twice, on either side of Sea Dog Brewing. We are trying to contact railroad management about the timing so that we can complete our race, but BE ADVISED, a train can come through so please be aware and TAKE CAUTION as necessary. Your health is more important than a PR.
Awards will be presented to overall winners and age-group winners.
Race will be officially timed by Brewer Timing Services.
We have every intention of hosting this race as scheduled. However, please be aware that weather and road safety could impact the event and refunds will not be available. The race course is not closed and participants should be cautious of traffic.
Sub5 Track Club provides a nonbinary category for this race, along with the option to not select a gender.
Please note:
If you prefer not to be recognized or included in awards announcements, please notify race officials in advance.
