Feral Mtn 50 miler

Experience the rugged beauty of nature at FERAL MTN, Coyote Ugly's third annual 50-mile endurance challenge set for April 24, 2027. This grueling course spans three sections of pristine national forest, offering runners a breathtaking landscape filled with diverse terrain and stunning vistas. With an elevation gain of over 10 kilometers, the race tests both physical strength and mental fortitude as participants navigate through challenging ascents and descents.
The event starts early on Saturday morning at 7am, giving competitors ample daylight to tackle the varied trails that wind through dense forests and open meadows. While there is no hundred-mile option this year due to safety concerns regarding volunteer availability, the 50-mile route remains a formidable test for seasoned ultrarunners.
As runners push their limits against the clock within a strict 20-hour cutoff period, they will encounter diverse ecosystems ranging from dense pine forests to rocky ridges. The race organizers are committed to providing an engaging and safe environment for all participants, ensuring that each step taken along this scenic route is both memorable and rewarding.
The detailed runner’s manual, which will be updated exclusively for the 50-mile course, provides comprehensive guidance on everything from route details to mandatory gear requirements. This ensures a well-prepared race day experience for everyone involved.
