Exeter 3k & 1200m Races

Exeter Arena Athletics Stadium welcomes runners of all ages and abilities for an evening filled with track racing excitement. The stadium offers a safe, traffic-free environment where participants can experience the thrill of competitive running.
The program kicks off at 7:10 PM with races designed specifically for young athletes aged under 12 and under 14 years old. This year, due to updates in England Athletics regulations, these races will cover a distance of 1200 meters instead of the traditional mile run. Both boys and girls are invited to compete on this challenging yet rewarding course.
For those new to track racing or simply looking for an introduction to the sport, the "Try The Track" event at 7:20 PM is tailored just for you. This non-competitive race invites participants who can complete a distance of approximately 15 minutes and above. It's an ideal opportunity for runners to experience the unique atmosphere of racing on a track.
The evening culminates around 7:45 PM with seeded 3k races, where athletes are divided into groups based on their pace from slowest to fastest. This format ensures that all competitors have the best chance to perform at their personal best in a supportive and encouraging environment.
With a race limit of 100 participants for the main events, early registration is recommended to secure your spot in these thrilling races.
