Tackle a true coastal classic voted one of the UK's best trail races. The Exe to Axe, organized by Sidmouth Running Club, is a demanding 22-mile (35km) point-to-point adventure along the stunning Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, taking place on Sunday, 12 April 2026. The route follows the spectacular South West Coast Path from Exmouth to Seaton, delivering a relentless and rewarding challenge with over 4,000 feet of ascent across dramatic cliffs and picturesque seaside villages. Runners can also opt for the Sid to Axe (the second and toughest half) or form a relay team, making the event accessible to different levels. With a generous 7-hour cut-off, well-stocked aid stations, and a vibrant finish line celebration at the Seaton promenade, it's a beautifully brutal race that tests your legs while stealing your heart with its outstanding views and fantastic community spirit.
