Escrapade de Journans

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the village of Journans (01) invites you to L’Escrapade, a community-driven sporting event organized by the local school association (Sou des Écoles). Running or walking here directly supports educational projects for local students—this year’s proceeds are dedicated to an audiovisual project chosen by the teaching staff. Set in a beautiful natural environment, this trail stands out for its friendly, family-oriented atmosphere and strong local roots.

The "6 Sous" Trail Challenge

L’Escrapade is a key part of the Trail des 6 Sous des Écoles Challenge. By participating in at least 4 of the 6 adult races in the 2026 circuit (Pérouges, Veyziat, Journans, Douvres, Saintoën’s, and Villieu), runners enter a grand prize draw. Prizes include a €100 voucher for Terre de Running and two surprise race bibs for the 2027 season to gift to friends or family.

Sport, Nature, and Solidarity

Participating in the Trail de Journans means combining physical activity with concrete local support. Supported by numerous sponsors such as Terre de Running and Intermarché, the event features technical trails through the scenic Revermont countryside. Please note that registration for the Gourmet Hike is available on-site only, while runners are encouraged to sign up online for the timed races.
