Enjoy Relay Marathon at Tamagawa (November 1) (エンジョイリレーマラソン@多摩川【11月1日開催】)

This relay marathon in Kawasaki's Takatsu Ward runs on a 1 km lap, with a half-marathon relay format for teams of 2 to 21 runners. Distance, number of laps and running order are all up to the team, so experienced runners and first-timers can share a team, and a runner can complete as little as a single lap.
Before the start, a running trainer leads a warm-up and a short lesson on running form. A big rock-paper-scissors tournament gives every participant a chance at prizes regardless of results, and a costume runner category awards a prize to the grand-prize team.
The entry fee is 3,500 yen per person, and one team representative aged 20 or over submits the application. Elementary and junior high school students must be accompanied by a guardian.
