About the Event

The 20th Annual endurRACE is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Waterloo, ON. This milestone edition of the event, which first launched in 2003, will take place at the Westmount Sports Park and utilize the scenic Laurel Trail. Waterloo is a major hub within Canada’s "Technology Triangle," characterized by a high concentration of tech professionals and a diverse demographic profile. Organized by the non-profit Run Waterloo, the race has a long history of rotating through local townships like Elmira and Elora, consistently promoting community health through unique multi-distance challenges.

The event features a distinctive Doubleheader format, allowing runners to compete in both a 5 KM and an 8 KM race on the same evening. The 5 KM kicks off at 4:30 PM, followed by an intermission featuring live music and a barbecue, leading into the 8 KM start at 6:00 PM. Participants choosing the doubleheader receive a special finisher medal for the 5 KM along with a magnetic component to signify the completion of the series. Standalone entries are also available for the 5 KM (CA$55.56), the 8 KM (CA$60.98), or the combined Doubleheader (CA$77.22). Additionally, an untimed 400m Fun Run (CA$12.24) is held at 5:30 PM for all ages, and "Future Runners" in strollers can participate for free.

Logistics are centered at Westmount Sports Park (440 Westmount Road North), where kit pickup will be available starting at 3:00 PM. The event is designed as a full-evening experience, with the barbecue running until 7:30 PM to allow runners from all sessions to congregate and celebrate. To maintain a high-quality experience, the race has a strict capacity limit, and commemorative T-shirts are available for an additional fee while supplies last. Run Waterloo maintains a strict no-refund policy, though they do offer deferrals and transfers as outlined in their waiver.
