Maratón Internacional Elche - Alicante

The inaugural Elche-Alicante Marathon promises an unforgettable journey through two vibrant Spanish cities. The race begins at the historic Altamira Palace in Elche, known as the City of the Lady for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Participants will traverse scenic routes that highlight Elche's UNESCO-designated landmarks: the expansive Palm Grove, the Misteri d'Elx, a unique theatrical tradition, and the Puçol Educational Project and Museum.
As runners make their way towards Alicante, they'll experience diverse landscapes ranging from lush greenery to sandy beaches. The final 9 kilometers of the race will take place along the pristine shoreline near Port of Alicante, culminating in an exhilarating finish at pier 12 where panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea await.
Alicante, a coastal gem on Spain's eastern shore, is celebrated for its year-round mild climate and abundant sunshine.
