Eight Crazy Hours

We are back and can't wait to host another fun filled day at the Eight Crazy Hours Races on December 13h (Sunday).  Looking for a new kind of race, or just a way to kick start your training?  This event is friendly for runners, walkers and families at all fitness levels.  Run, walk or crawl your way to the finish line.  It's your race, your way.  Start anytime during the day, you decide your start time and distance.  Invite friends and family to join and support each other along the way.  A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the Bergen County Animal Rescue.

Participants will have up to 10 hours (Start anytime between 8am to 4:00pm) to run or walk the 2 mile loop* as many times as they wish.  The course is a partially shaded flat paved path that runs along the river inside the Saddle River County Park, Rochelle Park Area.  Course and support will close at 6PM.  A fully stocked aid station near the start & finish area will include water, sports drink, gels or similar sweet and salty snacks.  An additional aid station near the halfway point will have fluids only.  Runners are encouraged to bring their own hydration container to refill.  Timing will be provided to record the time and the number of loops for all participants.

Finisher medals will be given to all participants who complete at least one loop. Individual medals for 5k, 10k, 13.1mi, 26.2mi. Plaques will be awarded to 50k, 60k, or 50m finishers.
