About the Event

ECO RUNA Step for Fitness. A Step for Nature.
Join ECO RUN, presented by Stepout2play, and take part in a unique virtual fitness challenge that combines personal health goals with environmental conservation efforts. From October 1 to October 30, 2026, participants can choose from various distance categories—ranging from 3 KM to 21 KM (half marathon)—and complete their runs or walks at any location and time of their convenience.
By participating in ECO RUN, runners not only push themselves towards better physical health but also contribute positively to the environment. Upon completing your chosen challenge, you'll receive seed balls designed for planting, allowing participants to give back to nature by growing trees from these seeds once they are planted. This initiative aims to promote a greener future through individual actions.
The event offers several categories including walking and jogging options alongside running, ensuring that everyone can find the right distance to match their fitness level and goals. Upon finishing your challenge within the given period, you’ll need to submit proof of completion via Strava, Google Fit, Fitbit, Apple Health, or Samsung Health. Ensure each submission includes clear details on distance, date, duration, and pace for every kilometer covered.
All verified participants will receive an EcoRun Finisher Medal, a digital certificate recognizing their achievement, and seed balls to plant as part of your contribution towards environmental sustainability. These rewards are dispatched free of charge across India within 10 days after verification is complete.
