EAMA 10k

The EAMA 10k, held annually in picturesque Wymondham, is a beloved local race with a strong community focus. This 10km circuit begins and ends on Lady's Lane, taking runners through the charming countryside near Morley. The event not only celebrates athletic achievement but also supports vital community services funded by entry fees.
Sponsored by East Anglian Motor Auctions, a Wymondham-based family business with over seven decades of experience in selling used cars and commercial vehicles, this race offers more than just a run; it's an opportunity to engage with the local heritage. Race day starts at 10:00 AM sharp for participants, while those joining as part of a corporate challenge can do so from 10:10 AM.
Entry fees are set at £19 for affiliated runners and £21 for unaffiliated competitors, with a special rate of £70 for teams participating in the Corporate Challenge. Number collection is handled through mail delivery to participants' homes; however, race HQ on Wymondham Market Place will be open from 8:30 AM should any issues arise.
The finish line at Lady's Lane rewards runners not just with a sense of accomplishment but also with bespoke medals and vests commemorating their achievement. For those who need it, detailed parking directions are available online to ensure easy access on the day. A bag drop service is provided right at the start/finish area for added convenience.
Public and portable toilets will be readily accessible in Wymondham Market Place throughout race day, though there won't be any facilities set up specifically at the starting point or finish line. This ensures that runners can focus entirely on their performance while still enjoying all the logistical support they need to have a smooth experience.
The EAMA 10k is more than just a run; it's an event steeped in community spirit and local pride, offering participants a unique blend of scenic beauty and meaningful engagement.
