The Dyslexia Dash 2026 can be run as an in-person race or as a virtual race. You choose whichever one works for you.
The in-person races will be held on October 17, 2026, at Perimeter Mall, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA, 30346. The race will begin in the parking lot near the Von Maur store. The Dyslexia Dash will include both a 5km run and 1-mile kids' run for those with big hearts but little legs (children ten years of age and under). The 1 mile kids' run begins at 7:45 am. The 5km run begins at 8:15 am. All participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the race. There will also be a kids' play area, a DJ, a teacher appreciation raffle, a Dyslexia Talent & Creativity Showcase area, an awards ceremony, and sponsor tents to visit.
For those attending the in-person race, you must be present to pick up your t-shirt or have someone pick it up for you.
For those choosing the virtual race, participants will run their own course and can post their times. As soon as you register, you can run the race. The Dyslexia Dash website will be open to receiving postings of times on October 1 and will remain open until 11:59 pm ET on October 17, 2025. Participants will have the option to post their times via the Dyslexia Dash website, using text message or sending an email. Race t-shirts and race bags for Virtual Race Participants will be mailed the week of October 19.
Register today for either the virtual or in-person race. Thank you for your participation!

Atlanta is the vanguard of the New South, with the charm and elegance of the Old. It's a city that balances southern traditions with sleek modernism, and southern hospitality with three skylines and the world’s busiest airport. It's a city that has been burnt to the ground and built back up; seen the horrors of war; felt the pain of droughts and floods; and given birth to Martin Luther King, Jr., the greatest figure of the civil rights movement. Atlanta is the capital of the state of Georgia.
