Dymchurch (Kent) 10K Charity Fun Run

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Dymchurch, the MCC Promotions race offers runners an unforgettable experience along the coastal promenade. This flat and fast out-and-back course is accurately measured to ensure fair competition for all participants.
The day kicks off at the Beach Cafe on 48 High Street in Dymchurch, where registration opens from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. Competitors can enjoy a convenient location near Folkestone Central railway station and local bus services (Bus numbers 101 or 102) for easy access.
Runners will be treated to the serene beauty of the seaside promenade, with stunning views of the English Channel throughout their journey. The course is well-supported by water stations at various points along the route, ensuring hydration during your run. First aid services are readily available should any assistance be needed.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants receive a bespoke medal as recognition for completing this challenging yet rewarding race. Top performers in both male and female categories will also earn trophies, while team awards add an extra layer of excitement to the competition. The current course records stand at 32:27 minutes by Nick Shasha (male) from Orion Harriers in 2018 and 36:34 minutes by Tina Oldershaw (female) representing Paddock Wood AC in 2016.
Results will be published on the official race websites, www.mccpromotions.com and www.webscorer.com. Ample parking is available nearby, with free spaces provided as well as a £1.20 per hour option for convenience.
