The event offers a variety of distances catering to all levels of fitness enthusiasts—from seasoned marathoners to beginners looking for an introductory run. Participants can choose from the Half Marathon (21.1km), 10K, or 5K races, each offering open timing and numerous benefits such as finisher medals, refreshments, hydration stations, dry-fit running t-shirts, bib numbers with timing chips, energy drinks, medical facilities, restrooms, baggage storage areas, car parking spaces, volunteer guidance throughout the course, Zumba dance sessions before and after the race, and more.
For those seeking a fun-filled experience without competitive pressure, there's also the 2K Fun Run. This non-timed category is perfect for families with children aged five years or older who are accompanied by guardians. All participants in this event will receive similar benefits as their longer-distance counterparts.
The day kicks off early at 5:30 AM IST with a warm-up session and live music to set the tone, followed by an exciting race through scenic routes of Dwarka. The course is designed not only for athletic challenge but also to showcase local landmarks and vibrant communities along its path.
Post-race celebrations include awards ceremonies recognizing top performers across various categories including age groups. Prizes range from trophies and gift hampers to medals, ensuring that every participant leaves with a memorable experience.
Safety remains paramount at the Dwarka Fitness Half Marathon. Medical teams are stationed strategically throughout the route alongside hydration stations, sports drinks, and time check points for optimal support. Spectators can also look forward to engaging in various activities while cheering on runners.
