Duathlon Relay race and Solo race race

Cyclopark in Gravesend hosts an exhilarating triathlon-style relay race, offering teams of three or solo participants a unique blend of running and cycling on its purpose-built tarmac circuit. This year's course has been slightly adjusted to feature a 3k run followed by a 12.5k bike ride before concluding with another 3k run.
Registration opens at 7:00 AM for both the relay race, which starts at 8:20 AM, and the solo event beginning shortly after at 8:15 AM. Teams will collect their envelopes containing all necessary numbers upon arrival; these include individual running bibs and bike numbers with a small digit indicating each team member's order in the rotation.
The transition area has been relocated to an overflow car park this year, providing ample space for participants while enhancing the overall race experience. Relay teams begin by completing a 3k run before heading back into transition to pick up their bikes. Cyclists will mount just outside the track and ride along its perimeter, navigating a gentle incline with clear instructions on lane changes.
After five laps of cycling (12.5km), racers dismount at the finish line and return to transition where they drop off their bike before embarking on the second 3k run segment. Solo participants follow a similar pattern but extend their cycling portion to eight laps for a total distance of 20 kilometers.
The event is capped at 60 teams for relay entries and 50 individuals in the solo category, so early registration is advisable to secure your spot. The race concludes with a cut-off time of 12:00 PM to ensure all bikes are off the track by then.
Participants will enjoy access to on-site changing rooms and showers after their efforts. A welcoming cafeteria area provides refreshments for racers and spectators alike, while children can explore a dedicated play zone nearby. Parking is available at £1 per vehicle but must be settled before leaving the premises.
