DTK December Løb 2026 🎄

Join the festive spirit of winter as you lace up your running shoes for Det 3 Løb, part of the Danish Sled Dog Club Cup. This two-day event takes place on December 12 and 13, 2026, in Klosterheden near Struer/Lemvig in Western Jutland.
Competitors can choose from a variety of classes including Canicross for both men and women (DC), Junior Canicross (DCJ), Cycle events (DB1 and DB2), Scooter races (DS1 and DS2), and sled dog teams ranging from 2-4 dogs to 6-8 dogs. The course is approximately 5-6 kilometers, though it may be shortened due to high temperatures.
On the first day at 10 AM, all participants are required to attend an obligatory musher's meeting where detailed race information will be provided. Families can also participate in a shorter children’s run of about 2 km on both days or just Sunday if preferred. A motion class is available for those who wish to enjoy the event without competition.
The event culminates with prize-giving and sponsor awards at the end of day two, ensuring that participants leave with more than just memories but also recognition for their efforts throughout this unique winter race. For full details on rules, equipment requirements, and registration, visit the Danish Sled Dog Club website or attend a pre-race meeting to learn all you need before stepping onto the snowy trails.
Don't miss out on experiencing one of Denmark's most charming winter sporting traditions!
