About the Event

The Dromtrasna Challenge returns on October 17, 2026, as one of the most beloved community events in the region. Over the past decade, this voluntary organization has established itself not just for its professional execution but also for fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere that welcomes runners, walkers, families, and supporters alike.
This year's lineup features a range of activities to cater to all ages and fitness levels: a fun 2K Kids Run, an accessible 4K walk, as well as competitive 5K and 10K chip-timed runs. Each event is designed to inspire participants while raising funds for Milford Hospice.
The Dromtrasna Challenge has raised over €239,000 since its inception thanks to the generosity of sponsors and community members who share a commitment to making a difference in their local area.
