Join the Transplant Community Alliance for their highly anticipated Donor Dash, now entering its seventh year on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Kiwanis Park in Tempe. This family-friendly event offers three exciting race options: a challenging 10K, an invigorating 5K, and the fun-filled 1K Family Fun Run designed for kids of all ages.
The Donor Dash is more than just a run; it's a celebration that supports Transplant Community Alliance’s Living Assistance Fund. The funds raised go directly to providing essential support services such as housing assistance, transportation aid, prescription coverage, and out-of-pocket medical expenses for transplant recipients and their families.
For the youngest participants, the 1K Family Fun Run is an especially welcoming event with a special discount of just $1 per child (under 12) when registered alongside an adult. All kids receive a t-shirt and finisher medal as part of their registration fee.
Following the race, enjoy the vibrant vendor village where you can explore local vendors and participate in a silent auction featuring unique items and experiences. The day also includes a pre- and post-race "Athlete's Brunch" with granola bars, fresh fruit, water, Gatorade, and more to keep everyone fueled.
All finishers will receive custom event medals and dri-fit tech t-shirts. Age group awards are given for the top three in each age category (excluding virtual runners) across both 5K and 10K distances. Categories range from ages 8 & under through 80+ years old, ensuring recognition for all skill levels.
The races take place on dedicated running trails at Kiwanis Park, featuring a mix of asphalt and concrete surfaces in an open-use trail system that remains accessible to the community during the event. The course is meticulously set by StartLine Racing to ensure your best possible experience with real-time results and photos available online post-race.
Race day registration opens early on October 17th at Kiwanis Park, where you can also pick up your race packets from 8:00 AM onwards. On-site prices are $55 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, and $35 for the 1K, with online registration recommended to secure your preferred t-shirt size.
The event is wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet-friendly, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably. The course starts at a common line but allows participants in wheelchairs or with strollers to begin from the back of their designated start corral without impacting race times.
