About the Event

The Dolomiti Extreme Trail (DXT) returns to the pristine Val di Zoldo from June 12-14, 2026, offering a premier ultramarathon experience in the heart of the UNESCO Dolomites. With seven distances ranging from a challenging 103K tour of the valley's peaks to an accessible 11K, this event is a cornerstone of Italy's trail running calendar. Each course is a "pure" trail journey through wild, untouched nature, featuring ancient paths, rugged rock formations, and breathtaking high-altitude vistas. The event is powered by over 300 local volunteers, creating a warm, community-focused atmosphere at the DXT Village in Forno that balances its international prestige. As a qualifier for UTMB and part of the Europe Trail Cup, the DXT is more than a race—it's a profound journey of personal discovery amidst some of the world's most majestic mountains.
