About the Event

Dolly's Imagination Library in Powhatan is pleased to announce its inaugural 5K color run. This family friendly fun run will start and end at Powhatan High School, and feature celebratory color powdering stations along the way. Registrations and donations will all go toward supporting early literacy through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library which sends an age-appropriate book, once a month, to each child in Powhatan, up to their fifth birthday.

It was initially known as Scottville, and has historically also been known as Powhatan Court House and Powhatan Courthouse, named after Chief Powhatan, father of Matoaka (Pocahontas).
