Doc Dash

The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Doc Dash 2026 is a long-standing community tradition held in Iowa City, Iowa. Scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, this annual 5K race starts at the medical campus on Newton Road and traverses nearby neighborhoods and the river trail. Since 1989, the event has served as a primary fundraiser for the Iowa City Free Medical and Dental Clinic and the University of Iowa Mobile Clinic, organizations that provide essential healthcare services to uninsured and under-insured populations throughout the region.
