About the Event

Diez Vista is one of the most historic ultras in the country, running since 1997 - that makes 2026 our 28th year! Founded by local trail runners to showcase the trails and terrain around Port Moody, BC, the race has developed an incredibly loyal following, and has attracted some of the biggest names in ultra running over it’s storied history. The race starts and finishes at Sasamat Lake in Belcarra Regional Park, and takes runners up and down (and up and down) the trails of neighbouring Buntzen Lake, including its namesake Diez Vistas trail. Runners experience over 2000 metres (6500 feet) of elevation gain & loss over roots, rocks, mud and some nice trail. Selling out quickly every year, the DV 50K clearly has earned a place on many trail runners’ bucket lists.

About Belcarra

Scenic view of

Belcarra is a village on the shore of Indian Arm, a side inlet of Burrard Inlet, and is part of Metro Vancouver. It lies northwest of Port Moody and immediately east of the Deep Cove area of North Vancouver, across the waters of Indian Arm. Isolated by geography on a narrow peninsula, Belcarra is accessible by a single winding paved road or by water. Before incorporation it was commonly known as Belcarra Bay.
