Introducing new for 2026 the DENFIT Jingle Bell 5k - An Ugly Sweater Holiday Family Fun Run, presented by Madymae on Broadway. 

Gather together with friends and family as you make your way through the quaint village of Cape Vincent! The course is one big loop along the village streets, passing by neighbors and our local small businesses.

Each participant will receive little jingle bells - tie them around your wrist, ankle, or shoe laces and make some holiday noise as you run! 

And best of all: if you run in an ugly holiday sweater, you will automatically entered in a raffle to win one of over THIRTY $20 gift certificates available to our local Cape Vincent businesses! 

Yes, you read that right: over 30 gift certificates will up for grabs as long as you run in an ugly holiday sweater!!

After the fun run, enjoy spreading holiday cheer with other runners while sipping hot chocolate and stopping into the local shops! 

What participants can expect:

• this is not a timed run - HOWEVER - top male and female finisher will receive a $100 VISA Gift Card
  
• anyone who participates in a holiday ugly sweater will automatically be entered in a raffle to win one of THIRTY gift certificates available to the local Cape Vincent shops
  
  
• each participant will receive an official DENFIT Jingle Bell 5k medal
  
  
• hot chocolate/coffee/water at finish
  
  
• walkers are welcome!

After you're done shopping local, be sure to stick around because later that same day will be the Cape Vincent Christmas Parade!
