About the Event

Experience the second edition of Crapahut Challenge, an open and inclusive hiking event for all types of enthusiasts—from seasoned hikers to runners, trail runners, Nordic walkers, or endurance marchers. There's no competition; the focus is purely on personal achievement in this stunning setting along the Vilaine Valley.
A specially crafted route by our volunteers awaits you. The 33-kilometer Challenge course offers 800 meters of positive elevation gain and starts at 8:30 AM, ideal for athletes looking to push their limits through scenic landscapes. For those seeking a guided experience, there's also a 15-kilometer route with 350 meters of ascent that begins at 10:00 AM. Families can enjoy the family-friendly escape game-style course covering just 5 kilometers; departures for this are between 11:00 and 11:45 AM.
Make sure to adhere strictly to departure times, as they have been carefully scheduled to ensure a smooth flow of participants. Arrive half an hour before your designated start time to grab a complimentary coffee or register with the organizers. The Crapahut Challenge is organized by the Ille-et-Vilaine Federation of French Hiking and the Guichen Escapade Club (35).
