The Asserbos Run offers two scenic routes through the picturesque Asserbos forest on March 21, 2027: a 5 km course and a more challenging 10 km option. The shorter distance counts towards the junior category of the Assenruns competition, while the longer route is part of the senior and masters categories. For younger participants, there's also an event for children on the AAC'61 athletics track featuring distances from 400 meters to 3 laps. Early registration closes on March 19th at a cost of €12; late registrants will pay €15. The race day schedule includes starts for kids beginning at 11:30 AM, followed by the adult races starting at 1 PM.
Runners can enjoy the serene beauty of Asserbos and its rolling hills as they navigate both courses, making this a perfect event to kick off spring training or simply partake in an enjoyable community race. For more information, visit AAC'61's website.
