About the Event

Welcome to the registration page for the Groenekan 5K. We're delighted that you are interested in joining us on October 11, 2026.
The race day schedule is as follows:
- Registration opens at 1:15 PM.
- The Kids Run starts at 1:30 PM with multiple categories for young participants.
- The 10K run begins at 2:35 PM.
- The 5K race, open to runners aged 11 and older, kicks off at 3:00 PM.
After the races conclude, there will be an award ceremony at restaurant Naast de Buren starting around 4:00 PM. Both the 5K and 10K routes follow a scenic path through the Voordaan and Beukenburg forests (see attached images), offering runners a peaceful yet challenging course filled with natural beauty.
For this year's Kids Run, participants will enjoy a route along Grothelaan and its adjacent woodland area.
Registration is now open until Friday, October 6, but spots are limited so don't wait too long to secure your place!
We look forward to seeing you on race day!
