The event starts with teams racing through scenic routes that mirror key spots from the Batman universe. From the bustling streets reminiscent of Gotham’s downtown area to quieter trails echoing the mysterious corners of Wayne Manor, each segment offers a different flavor and difficulty level. Participants will face various terrains including paved roads, winding paths, and even stretches where they’ll feel like they’re running alongside iconic characters.
Throughout the race, teams must work together seamlessly as they pass batons at designated checkpoints that are cleverly placed to reflect significant moments in Batman’s history. These transitions not only test runners’ physical abilities but also their strategic planning skills.
As the day progresses and night falls, the atmosphere transforms into a celebration of DC fandom, with costumes encouraged for added immersion. The race culminates near one of Gotham's most recognizable landmarks where fans can cheer on participants as they sprint towards the finish line under the glow of city lights.
