Darłowskie Biegi Niepodległości - 2026

On November 8, 2026, Darłow’s Sports Complex on Szpitalna Street 1 hosts the annual youth running festival. The day kicks off with an opening ceremony at noon, setting the stage for a series of races featuring young athletes from various age groups.
Starting promptly at 2:00 PM, girls and boys born between 2011 and 2012 compete in separate 800-meter events. This is followed by similar races for those born between 2013 and 2014 over a distance of 600 meters. As the afternoon progresses, younger racers take to the track, with distances decreasing as age groups get smaller: children from 2015-2016 run 400 meters, those born in 2017-2018 cover 400 meters too, and the youngest participants, aged 2019 onwards, race over a sprint distance of just 200 meters.
The atmosphere is electric as families cheer on their young runners. Between races, there’s an engaging quiz session with prizes for all who participate, adding an interactive element to the day's events. The festival concludes at 4:00 PM, leaving everyone energized and eager for next year’s edition.
