Run through a sea of golden blooms at the Daffodil Dash 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This charming fourth annual event, co-sponsored by the Ithaca Garden Club and Ithaca Children's Garden, transforms Cass Park into a breathtaking spring spectacle with over 180,000 daffodils lining the scenic Cayuga Inlet. The 1-Mile dash starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the 5K at 9:30, offering a perfect opportunity for runners, walkers, and families to celebrate the season in vibrant color.

With free registration for participants 12 and under and affordable optional t-shirts, this community-focused event is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all ages. Most importantly, every dollar raised is directly converted into new daffodil bulbs, ensuring your participation helps plant even more beauty for future springs in Ithaca's public spaces. Registration opens on January 12th and is limited to the first 500 applicants, so mark your calendar to secure a spot in this floral celebration where every step cultivates community and lasting natural beauty.
