La Chevron – Tour du Grand Amiens returns for its second edition on Sunday, September 6, 2026, offering cyclists an exhilarating and well-organized cyclosportive through the scenic landscapes of Amiens. Backed by former professional World Tour cyclist Clément Chevrier as a patron, this event promises to blend competitive spirit with camaraderie.
The race starts and finishes at Décathlon Amiens on Avenue de Grèce in Amiens. Cyclists will have three distinct routes tailored for various skill levels:
- The Grand Route: A challenging 170 km circuit featuring an elevation gain of 1,750 meters.
- The Medium Route: An intermediate option covering 115 km with a climb of 1,207 meters.
- The Short Route: Ideal for beginners and casual riders, this 70 km course includes a modest ascent of 765 meters.
Each route is equipped with well-placed hydration stations to ensure that cyclists stay hydrated throughout the journey. Safety measures are meticulously planned, including motorbike escorts, lead cars, and traffic marshals along all routes to maintain order and protect participants. The medical support team from the Red Cross will be present on-site, ready to assist in case of emergencies.
Upon registration, riders receive personalized bib numbers and canteen plates, as well as welcome gifts upon arrival at the event venue. Cyclists can look forward to a hearty meal awaiting them after crossing the finish line.
