Cross the Line Foundation, Run for Veterans 5K

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Cross the Line Foundation will host its annual Run for Veterans 5K race starting at 8:00 a.m. in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This year’s event promises to be even more rewarding with Game Changers Running Company presenting gift certificates to the top three male and female finishers in $150, $50, and $25 amounts.
Participants can pick up their race packets at Game Changers Running Company located at 1881 S. 14th St., Suite 5, Fernandina Beach, FL on Friday, November 6 from noon until 7 p.m. Race day packet pickup will also be available starting at 7:00 a.m. and concluding by 7:45 a.m.
The race course features an out-and-back route that begins and ends near the Veterans' Memorial in Central Park on the west side of Fernandina Beach, offering participants a scenic run through historic streets lined with oak trees and charming architecture. All registered runners will receive a commemorative t-shirt provided they register by midnight on November 1.
The race day festivities include an awards ceremony at 9:00 a.m., where top male and female finishers as well as first-place age group winners in ten-year increments from ages nine and under to eighty and over, will be honored. Registration costs $35 online or $45 cash only on the days of packet pickup.
Proceeds from this event support Cross the Line Foundation’s mission to raise awareness about veteran-related issues and provide immediate assistance through partnerships with other organizations dedicated to supporting veterans in need.
