Credit Unions for Kids 5K Fun Run/Walk Powered by the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions

Question: What's better than getting together bright and early and going for a walk or a run? Answer: Walking or running with credit union peeps at the Michigan Credit Union League Annual Convention and Expo to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network!!!

The Credit Unions for Kids 5K Fun Run/Walk for the Children's Miracle Network is powered by the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions on Friday, June 6th, at 7:30am! 

The run/walk will take place on the river walk - right behind the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place. Easiest way is to get to it, is head towards The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck, take a right and head out the door (you can exit out this door, you just cannot enter that way). Easy-peasy to find, just head toward the water.  The 3.1 mile course starts on the riverwalk, will make a loop around the river walk, with a portion of the race veering off the river walk. You are free to run or walk whatever distance and pace, 1 mile, 2 miles, 3 miles, we got you covered! 

So, 7:30am is a bit too early for you or you won't be able to join us in Grand Rapids this year? No worries! Join us in spirit via our "virtual option"!  

By the way, this is NOT a timed event, and you get to decide how far you want to go!  So, no need to get goofy about your time, just a fun and healthy way to start the day off on the right...foot!  But the MOST important thing is...this is just another way to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network! 

To be guaranteed a shirt, you must register by Friday, May 23th. We do order extras, bit shirt size cannot be guaranteed.  

So here's the scoop:

When: Thursday, June 4th 
Time: 7:30 am
Located: Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place

Distance: However far you want to go! It is a 3.1 mile course; however, we will have miles marked at the 1, 2 and 3 Miles. Distance is up to you!

The “ Virtual Run/Walk": You get a shirt and bragging rights that you helped the Children's Miracle Network 

Registration is $40 

Additional Donations are enthusiastically accepted!

*The with shirt option is available ONLY until midnight, Wednesday, May 20th. We will have extra shirts the morning of; however, they will be given out on a first come basis.
