Since its inception in 1973, the Course de la Sainte-Catherine has grown from a modest local gathering of fewer than 200 runners into a vibrant regional spectacle attracting over 1,000 participants annually. The race is organized each year by children and adults alike, blending youth energy with seasoned expertise to create an unforgettable event. The heart of the Course de la Sainte-Catherine lies in its charming medieval village setting, where winding cobblestone streets and historic architecture set the stage for a unique running experience. Participants can choose from several courses ranging from 530 meters up to 11,060 meters (two loops of 5,530 meters), offering something for every level of runner. This year introduces an exciting new category: "entretours," designed specifically for companies and teams with three or more members. These groups will start their race at 4 PM on a half-loop course measuring 2,530 meters, originally intended for schoolchildren but now open to all enthusiastic competitors eager to embrace the spirit of teamwork. The event is deeply rooted in community pride, as residents come together to cheer on runners and celebrate the joy of running. The Course de la Sainte-Catherine promises a day filled with historical charm, competitive excitement, and warm camaraderie among participants from near and far.
