Course ou Marche des Pères Noël

On December 13, 2026, the Christmas Spirit Run and Walk will take place in Compiègne, offering participants an enchanting festive experience. All runners are provided with red and white Santa hats to match their bib numbers, adding a touch of holiday cheer as they make their way through the picturesque town.
The race begins at Rue Saint Corneille, directly opposite the city hall and Christmas market, where local officials will sound off the start alongside a group of motorcyclists dressed in full Santa attire. A vibrant red-and-white VW Bus leads the procession along Rue Solférino and Quai du Harlay before winding through the scenic banks of the Oise River.
Participants continue to enjoy the festive atmosphere as they cross Pont-Neuf, then turn onto the Venette side of the river's embankments. The route takes runners under a tunnel beneath RN31, leading them into the charming Christmas market in nearby Venette where live music and fanfare await their arrival.
The race concludes back in Compiègne on Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, surrounded by another festive market scene. This event does not feature official rankings or timing but instead rewards creativity with prizes for the best costume as well as recognition for the first finisher and clubs/organizations that register the most participants.
All runners are treated to refreshments including drinks and fruits upon crossing the finish line. Proceeds from registration fees will be donated to a local charity supporting hospitalized children during the holiday season, presented in front of elected officials and Kiwanis Club members at an event conclusion ceremony.
