Run with purpose along the wild Breton coastline at the **3rd Course Nature du Valais on Saturday, March 21, 2026**. Hosted by the Apajh 22 association and the DAME du Valais medico-educational institute in Saint-Brieuc, this deeply inclusive afternoon of sport transforms every stride into direct support for educational and athletic projects benefiting young disabled students. The 12.5km trail unveils the rugged beauty of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, winding past the iconic Viaduc de Douvenant, along GR34 cliff paths, between the colourful Valais fishermen's huts, across a brief sandy beach, and beneath the solemn silhouette of Tour de Cesson. With 300m of rolling, runnable elevation and a single well-placed aid station at kilometre 8, this is a course designed for connection—not cutoffs.
The event radiates hospitality through every carefully considered detail. A 6km randonnée invites slower paces to absorb the Douvenant valley, while the 5.5km "Course pour Tous" creates a rare and precious space for individuals with disabilities to experience the thrill of trail running in full autonomy, supported by the Département's "Yes you trail" initiative. Every finisher receives a homemade gift, proof that this race is crafted by hand and heart rather than corporate machinery. Registration remains open with the 12km trail already two-thirds full; on-site entry is possible for those who arrive early with cash in hand. Bib pickup begins at 14:00 from the DAME itself—3 rue des Champs au Duc—where the young beneficiaries of your registration await your arrival with palpable anticipation.
The 15:30 start sends runners eastward into the golden hour light of a Breton spring, the viaduct arches framing their ascent. By 16:00, the Course pour Tous departs, met by cheers from volunteers who understand that speed is not the only measure of courage. A buvette and cake sale await all finishers, their proceeds cycling directly back into the DAME's educational programmes. This is not a race for UTMB points or personal bests. It is a race for solidarity, for visibility, for the simple, radical act of running alongside those often left on the sidelines. To register is to cast a vote for a more equitable sport. To finish is to understand that some trails lead not to podiums, but to people.
