Corsa del Trenino

On June 14, 2026, Asiago's old railway station comes alive again. La Corsa del Trenino celebrates its 20th edition by sending runners down the former Rocchette–Asiago railbed — a disused train line that cuts through forests, past stone stations, and across the Altopiano dei 7 Comuni. Two distances: 10 km (110 m D+) and 21 km (320 m D+). Start and finish at the same historic station. Mixed terrain, partly on the old tracks, partly on roads that remain open to traffic.

Competitive vs Non‑Competitive — You Choose:

• Competitive category requires a valid medical certificate for athletics (agonistica). Without it, you are automatically moved to non‑competitive.
• Non‑competitive still gives you a bib, chip timing (no ranking), official gadget, medical assistance, refreshments, and finish line services.
• Both distances offer both categories.

Logistics & Registration:

• Maximum 1,000 total participants — registration closes when cap is hit.
• Bib pickup: Saturday, June 13 (strongly recommended) at iRun – Vicenza (10‑12 and 16‑19). Also Sunday morning (7:00‑9:00) at start/finish area (Via Stazione 1, Asiago).
• Entry fees (subject to price increase after May 31, 2026). Group discount for clubs with 10+ runners.
• Payment by bank transfer to UISP Vicenza — IBAN provided.
• Registration also available at partner shops: Puro Sport (Zanè), Masep (Thiene), iRun (Vicenza), EmmeRunning (Bassano).
• Bib transfer or deferral to next edition allowed only if requested by May 31, 2026. No refunds for race cancellation (weather, safety, etc.).

What Your Entry Includes:

• Bib with timing chip (Membrain or similar).
• Bag drop service.
• Official event gadget.
• Medical assistance + Alpine Rescue presence + ambulance on course.
• 5 refreshment points plus finish line refreshments.
• Showers and changing rooms.

On‑Course Reality:

• Roads remain OPEN to traffic. Participants must obey the Italian highway code.
• Cutoff for 21 km: 3 hours (strict). 10 km has no cutoff.
• Aid stations double as radio contact points. Medics can stop any runner deemed unfit to continue.
• If the race is delayed, shortened, or cancelled due to bad weather or safety concerns — no refunds. The organization has full authority to modify the course or stop the race at any point.

Awards & Recognition (no cash prizes, only technical gear and local products):

• 21 km: top 5 men + top 5 women overall, plus age categories (35‑45, 46‑55, 56+).
• 10 km: same category structure.
• No cumulative prizes.
