CORRIDA ELECTRIC RUN 2026

On November 28, 2026, runners and walkers will gather at the parking lot of Praia da Cinelândia for the start of an evening race that promises scenic views along its routes. The event features three distances: a 2.5km run/walk, a 5km course, and a challenging 10Km option.
Competitors can expect well-marked courses with accurate distance measurements verified by the organizing team. For those looking to enjoy the race in comfort, discounted entry fees are available for participants aged 60 or older on the day of the event, as well as individuals with disabilities who provide proper documentation upon registration and kit pickup.
Race kits include essentials like a dry-fit shirt, reusable bag, number bibs, and disposable chips. Participants can pick up their kits at designated locations on November 26th and 27th before heading to the starting line for an evening start time of 19:00. With its mix of urban landscapes near the beachfront, this race offers a unique running experience in Rio de Janeiro's vibrant atmosphere.
The event caters to runners of all ages with specific age requirements set by international standards; participants must be at least 14 years old for shorter distances and older for longer ones up to 20 years. All athletes should ensure they meet these criteria, as the official race day will determine eligibility based on their age in December 2026.
This event is not just a competition but an opportunity to explore Rio's dynamic cityscape under the evening lights, making it a memorable experience for runners and spectators alike.
