CORRIDA DO DISTRITO DE INOVAÇÃO DE SÃO PAULO

Embark on an invigorating journey through the heart of São Paulo's Cidade Universitária, where the Distrito de Inovação comes alive during the annual Corrida do Distrito. On November 29, 2026, runners and walkers will explore a vibrant ecosystem that merges science, technology, and cultural diversity within the sprawling campus of USP Butantã.
The race offers three engaging options: a dynamic 10K run, a scenic 5K course, and an accessible 3K walk. Each route weaves through iconic landmarks and cutting-edge institutions, showcasing the district's commitment to innovation and knowledge sharing. With limited spots available for up to 6,000 participants, this event promises an intimate experience that celebrates community engagement.
Starting early in the morning with a warm-up at 6:50 AM, the race kicks off promptly at 7:00 AM for the longer distances, followed by later starts for shorter events. The day culminates around noon as runners and walkers cross the finish line after an exhilarating exploration of this intellectual hub.
Beyond the physical challenge, participants contribute to a meaningful cause; up to 20% of race proceeds are allocated towards kits and resources for local workers, community members, and those in need. This initiative underscores the event's dedication to fostering positive social impact alongside athletic achievement.
Join us on November 29, 2026, to connect with São Paulo’s dynamic academic environment while supporting a cause that enriches lives beyond the race itself.
