CORRIDA ASSAÍ - TERESINA

On November 22, 2026, runners will gather at Assaí Atacadista Raul Lopes on Av. Raul Lopes, 2757 - Ininga, Teresina for the Corrida Assaí, a vibrant event that offers both walking and running options to participants of all levels. The race features three categories: a walk category as well as 5k and 10k runs for men and women.
The day kicks off early with an opening ceremony at 5:00 AM followed by participant concentration from 5:15 AM, culminating in the start time of 5:40 AM sharp. The event is designed to be exclusive to these categories and distances as outlined in its regulations.
Participants are encouraged to stay informed through official communication channels for details on kit pickup, which will take place before race day. It's important to note that kits cannot be picked up by third parties for runners aged 60 or older or those with disabilities (PCD).
For individuals picking up their own kits, a valid photo ID is required along with the signed Term of Responsibility if underaged. Third-party kit retrieval requires an original photo ID from the collector and a simple copy of the athlete’s identification as well as proof of registration.
Race day sees no on-site kit distribution; it's crucial for all runners to collect their kits during designated times prior to November 22nd, ensuring they are prepared for this exciting morning event.
