The course itself is designed to showcase Cooperstown's charming streets and historic sites while providing a mix of flat terrain and a gentle hill near the finish line for added excitement. Both races begin and conclude at The Clark Sports Center, ensuring participants have easy access to water stations mid-course and at the finish line.
Adding to the fun are costume contests for both youth and adults, where runners can compete in categories such as scariest, funniest, best group, and overall favorite.
