The Consent Event 2026 is a community-driven initiative organized by the Saffron Centre to raise awareness and support for those affected by sexual violence. Scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, the event takes place at Broadmoor Lake Park in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Featuring both a 2km walk and a 5km run, the event serves as a platform for healing and empowerment, bringing the community together to advocate for a future free from sexual assault. All proceeds are directed toward the Saffron Centre’s essential counselling, education, and justice programs.

-- Fundraising Goals: The event has set an ambitious goal of CA$25,000 to expand its education and justice services. Participants are encouraged to form teams or donate individually to help reach this milestone.
