Concord 5000

Concord High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams are excited to host this unique opportunity for our community. Have you been running 5k road races and are interested in running on the TRACK to get your true 5000 meter time with a professional timer? Then this race is for you. We will have a fun, festive atmosphere where you are cheered on by other runners. There will be music, a food truck, a custom shirt vendor and prizes for the top three finishers in each category, plus a special gift for the fastest couple of the night! (It is the day before Valentine's Day!) Proceeds will benefit Concord High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs. Concord High is a Title 1 school with over 50% low-income families, so profits will go toward race entry fees, team gear/uniforms, and individual shoes.
