Join the Compiègne community for an inspiring run or walk to support men's cancer research on Sunday, November 29th. Organized by the local clubs of Compiègne, this Movember event offers runners and walkers a unique opportunity to explore both the heart of historic Compiègne and its natural surroundings along the banks of the Oise River.
The race features two running courses—one at 14 kilometers and another at 6 kilometers—and an additional walking option for those preferring a leisurely pace. Participants will traverse scenic routes that include city streets, river paths, and bike lanes, providing easy-to-navigate terrain with minimal elevation changes.
All events kick off simultaneously from Rue Saint Corneille at 9:30 AM before winding through the picturesque landscapes by the Oise River and concluding in Parc Songeons. A midway refreshment station will cater to runners on the longer course, while all participants can enjoy a post-race meal and snacks available within the festival area.
Upon registration pick-up at Compiègne’s Theatre à Moustache on November 28th, each participant receives a complimentary blue neck gaiter emblazoned with Movember imagery. This keepsake encourages runners to embrace their role as "Mo Bros" in support of men's health initiatives. The event also offers food trucks and a photo booth for capturing memorable moments.
Proceeds from Compiègne en Bleu will be donated entirely to Gustave Roussy Institute, furthering medical research aimed at combating male cancers. Each kilometer run or walked contributes directly towards advancing this critical cause.
