About the Event

Join us for the 5th annual Community Strong Race Weekend, a fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness and support for physical and mental health challenges in our community. All proceeds benefit the AFS Foundation, supporting mental health programs in Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma District. Weekend Events & Schedule: Friday, June 19, 2026 – Race Packet Pick Up Location: The Tap Room, 50 Pim St., Sault Ste. Marie Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2026 – Fun & Family Races 8:00 AM – 10K 10:00 AM – Colour Run (5K) 10:15 AM – Kids Fun Run Sunday, June 21, 2026 – Marathon Weekend 6:00 AM – Boston Qualifying Marathon 6:30 AM – Half Marathon This weekend is perfect for runners of all levels, families, and supporters looking to make a difference while enjoying a fun, active, and community-focused event.
