Community Action's Pumpkin Kids Run

Join us on October 25, 2026 for an afternoon of fun and celebration as we host the Kid's Run at UCCAC Building located at 70 Lindsley Ave. This special event is designed to inspire young leaders through running and community engagement.
The day kicks off with a 3K race tailored for older children aged 8 to 18, starting promptly at 1:30 PM after drop-off and registration between 12:45 PM and 1:10 PM. Participants will enjoy a warm-up session led by instructors followed by an encouraging welcome from our speakers before the race begins.
For younger runners aged 4 to 7, there's a shorter but equally exciting 1.1K run scheduled right after the older kids' event. Drop-off and registration for this group is between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM with a brief warm-up session before the race starts at 2:15 PM.
Parents are encouraged to accompany children under the age of 8 during both races, ensuring safety and support throughout the day's activities. The event features ongoing festivities from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM including food, drinks, music, and guest speakers who will share stories of inspiration and achievement with our young athletes.
Participants are advised that there will be a road closure on Delaware Street leading into Kingston Point from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM. It's recommended to park at Kingston Point or use available street parking around the UCCAC building for easy access to the event venue.
