About the Event

On August 22nd, runners are invited to participate in a unique twist on traditional races: a vibrant splash through UHI’s campus. Registration begins at 1 PM sharp and continues until 2 PM inside the University of Highlands and Islands (UHI) foyer. Participants should be ready by 1:45 PM as bags filled with non-toxic, washable paint will become available from that point onward.
A fun warm-up session kicks off in the UHI car park at 2:30 PM for those who want to get a head start on loosening up before the main event. The run/walk officially starts promptly at 3 PM with staggered departures from the entrance of UHI, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to join in.
Participants are encouraged to wear sunglasses or goggles and choose appropriate footwear and clothing for this colorful journey. While most materials will wash out easily after the race, it’s wise to consider fabric choices carefully as some might not be paint-friendly.
Children under 12 must have a registered adult accompanying them; each adult can supervise up to two children throughout the event. It's important that all participants are aware of their own safety and proceed at their own risk.
This splash-filled run offers more than just exercise—it’s an experience in community spirit, creativity, and fun set against the backdrop of UHI’s lively campus environment. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind adventure!
