Color Run 5k and 2k

We are Sophie Parker, Rory Parrish, and Ryder Morrall, and we're super excited to be hosting this year's Color Run 5k and 2k on Sunday, October 18, 2026! This event includes a 5K (3.1 Mile) & 2K (1.3 Mile) race through the scenic trails along the James River. All racers should arrive by 9AM, and the race will begin promptly at 9:30AM. Sign up for whichever length you feel comfortable running or walking! (Both start at the same place, 2K just runs a shorter loop of the 5K trail)

With the purchase of a race ticket, each participant will receive a Color Run t-shirt and complimentary raffle entry for the chance to win 1 of 5 donated baskets from local businesses (worth up to $200!). Sign up will remain open up until morning of the race (8AM), but please register early to secure your spot! We hope to see you there!

The purpose of this race is not only to bring together the RVA community, but also to raise money for the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation. Our mission is to promote inclusivity and cancer awareness within our community through a family-friendly run, with all proceeds going towards educational, social, and medical support for children with cancer and their families throughout the Greater Richmond area. PLEASE NOTE: This is a Color Run. Racers for both the 5K and 2K will run through a marked course in Robious Landing Park, and there will be multiple stations where racers can run through the color. The powder is environmentally degradable, non-toxic, skin safe, and made from 98% food-grade corn starch and 2% FDA-certified color additives.
