About the Event

The ‘Coast to Kosci’ 240km race is Australia’s premier ultramarathon. Instigated in 2004, it has become a unique and iconic race, organised by runners for runners, which values Community, Humility and Resilience. The race commences at Twofold Bay near Eden in Southern NSW in Australia and finishes 240km later at Charlotte Pass, after summitting Mt Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest point. Around 60 runners have up to 46 hours to complete the race – Allie Corripio has set the female race record in our 2024 race, finishing in 27hrs and 44mins, whilst Andrew Tuckey still holds the race record of 24hrs and 33mins set in 2014.

Boydtown is a village on Twofold Bay near Eden, on the far south coast of New South Wales, Australia. It was the original settlement in the bay, founded by Benjamin Boyd in 1843 to service his properties on the Monaro plains. The remains of whaling stations and the local landmark Boyd's Tower, a stone spotting tower used to look for whales, are all nearby.
